Hip hop has suffered a lot since his tragic loss. But his music still lives on, even though his mother isn't doing a great job of preserving his legacy with quality music.

One person's 'tragic loss' is another person's sigh of relief...

I Think the new album is good, however it would have ben nice to see eminem produce a track or 2 but he did get nearly the whole last one(loyal to the game) to himself.

Yes you have chatta! He was murdered in 1996 in Las Vegas whilst leaving the Mike Tyson/Sheldon fight. Many people say that it was inevitable and Tupac talked a lot about his imminent demise, almost as though as he knew that his life would soon come to an end. He had an incredibly strong work ethic and as a result he has had more albums release posthumously that whilst he was alive. His murder remains unresolved to this day, and the one person who said they could identify his killer was murdered two months later after leaving his girlfriend's house.

I think you will find that Tupac was one of the more 'socially' aware rappers, talking about the harsh realities he saw growing up poor in America. Another such rapper is Nas (still alive!). Not like the rubbish you hear from 50 Cent and the like!
