Thanks for all your helpful replies .I have some pineapple juice in the fridge I may try it soaked overnight in that as I adore pineapple juice in almost anything I never thought of fruit juice. I like porridge but I make it with water and sprinkle some salt on the top.(the way my old Scots Mum made it).I also have some plain yoghurt in the fridge so that might jazz it up a bit. It really does tase a bit like sawdust and seems to have very little fruit in it at all.I have some sutanas that I could shove in as well. McpPsl the home made one sounds good as well There is a Holland and Barrett near to me in Hempstead shopping centre I may have a go and mixing my own up and experimenting until I get a flavour I like
Cheers for all the good Ideas though,Great thing about this site if you can't think of an option if you post a query someone will always come up with a good idea
Cheers chums

I always add extra raisins/sultanas to my muesli, otherwise I don't think it has much flavour either! Beware dried banana pieces though, as I always seem to cut my mouth on these if they're in the museli mix!GC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000

I always avoid the "swiss style" muesli's as I think they are the worst ones, full of sugary dust, yuk! My favourite one was Tesco's own Wholemeal Muesli, which sadly, and perhaps because of its somewhat unappealing name, is no longer available around here. It was lovely, full of whole brazil nuts and other dried fruit, and had nice crunchy bits and no sugar!0

The last time I had Alpen at a friend's house I found it tooth-rottingly sweet. I swear that they add dried milk-powder to it as well but I've never checked the ingredients list. I'm another fan of Lidl's Luxury Fruit & Nut Muesli which is the best shop-bought one I've ever tried. I add some mixed seeds to it (sunflower, pine-kernels, that sort of thing) if I'm feeling adventurous0

me too! well, i have the lidl luxury fruit & nut museli (got loads when it was half price but on my last bag now) and put lemon juice and plain yoghurt on top.
Ah, never thought of lemon juice, used orange or apple, I have some fresh lemons [reduced] Lidl ones, so will go well with my Lidl luxury muesli and Lidl natural yoghurt
