Bonus Nectar Points Thread

The first three are tips from Martin, the others I found. Please feel free to add other ways to boost points on this thread so we can keep it all in the same place!

* Apply for an Amex Nectar Credit card (Bonus of around 5k points if you spend £500 in first 3 months, plus extra Nectar points when used with qualifying merchants) http://www.nectar.com/collect/money-and-finance/nectar-credit-card.points?CRTV=OnlineShoppingBan

* Download the Nectar toolbar and make 100 searches - bonus 300 points http://www.nectar.com/collect/toolbar/home.points?offer=ES100YAH01

* Register your Nectar Card with British Gas - Bonus maximum 1800 points (alternatively switch to BG and get 10,000 points plus the 1800!) http://www.nectar.com/collect/home-and-garden/british-gas.points

* Join 'Team Green Britain' - bonus 100 points: http://www.teamgreenbritain.org/nectar

* Tell Sainsbury's when your renewal is due - bonus 100 points : https://nectar.datacapture.sainsburysfinance.co.uk/

* Visit Sainsbury's diet website - bonus 100 points : https://www.sainsburysdiets.co.uk//offers/coupon100


Total bonus of around 7400 points, which is circa £35.00. Not far from a free shop there. Plus if you use your new Amex card instore at Sainsburys you get 4 points for every pound spent, racking up more points than usual.

There's a Nectar App for the iPhone, maybe for other phones too that gives bonus Nectar points.

wooohoo brillaint! I have always shopped through Nectar and just registered with BG, also have an AMEX nectar card which I admittedly don't use that much but will try those other things, thanks!
