Made humous last night for the first time, chick peas, garlic, tahini. But it is a little dry, what did I do wrong or what can I add to it to make it a little more moist?
Thanks

I use a glug of olive oil and lemon juice, and sometimes some water from the chick peas if it's still too dry.GC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000

I do what jackieglasgow and mummysaver advise. Sometimes it is nice to stir natural yoghurt through to get a lighter flavour.0

I like the idea of a little yoghurt through it. That sounds good, thanks!Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These

Agree - good glug of olive oil and some lemon juice, then your hummous will be perfect (and with a bit of paprika sprinkled on top!)0

This is one of the things that I never seem to get right either, we love Hummous and my DD always says I never make it as nice as the stuff in the Shops.:o Going to try suggestions on here with extra lemon juice or maybe Yoghurt to "loosen" it a bit. Thanks.;)"WASTE NOT, WANT NOT!"GC for OH, myself, DD18 & DD16 includes Toiletries, cleaning stuff & Food.
