Hiya all, thats just say i havent been well with money in the past..
In 2006 i got a littlewoods cat, i moved houses in 2007 and i just forgot about the littlewoods account! i no silly me..
Well my mam got a phone call from SRJ the other day for me. (i have never lived at my mams address alow i do have my car insurance there as im with my mam on her car insurance.
I rang them back and they said i owe £326. ive looked on my credit file and they defaulted me for £218 so can they ask for more back?
Also im on income support and really cant afford to pay alot back alow i do ant to pay it back.
is there any templates i could use to ask them to pay little but often amount?
also i have asked them not to phone my mams home as i dont live there and he was very snotty with me..

Hi
I'm not a big fan of routine requests for a copy of your consumer credit act agreement (cca)
But for pre-april 2007 catalogue debts I would definitely do it because so few of the catalogue companies used to bother with it, and the debt is legally unenforceable until they comply.
Whatever you choose to do later (ignore it, full & final settlement deal, payment by instalment) you'll get better treatment if they know that you know that court action is an empty threat
The cca letter is at the end of this factsheet
