Not impressed at all. who has told their oh anything?
My OH accidentally kinda knew the colour as i have a spotty veil in the junk room i forgot to move one time. Although it came free with the dress but its to long for me being 5ft 2 and a half and train length! and i said it does not go. I think he has guessed there is a spot theme althogh i am sticking to to its to long it doesn't go with dress idea. lol
First dress fitting Saturday so excited.

my OH wanted to CHOOSE my BM dress and my wedding dress! erm, I'll let him plan but that's going too far!
He does know what colour scheme we are having though10 -

I haven't been dress shopping yet - but I have shown MrD all the photos online that I've liked the look of. I will probably show him the dress when I do get one... just not on me.0

Not about wedding dresses, but only last night OH was on the 'phone to MIL about daughters (5yrs) birthday present. After phone call had ended, son (6yrs) came running into the room shouting
"Nan has got you that Disney Princess doll you wanted for your birthday!!"
Little booger was hiding and listening in to the call.0 -
My oh has seen bridesmaid dresses and knows we have a pink thing going on. I think he has guessed about spots somewhere as i am getting his gran to add big spots to our cake. She did us a tester cake for Christmas it was fab.
My daughter is 14 the day before the wedding so she is old enough to know not to mention the shade of the dress. When i tried to tell her off for saying it she said its not like i said its not ivory which narrowed it down even more. I will get my revenge on facebook might have to post a embarassing baby pic or something.
I am not cross now we are fairly laid back about wedding everyone else is stressing about it though.0 -
My OH knows nothing about my dress and I want to try and keep it that way. I do want OH involved in planning screening else and so he knows the colour scheme and has seen bm's dresses.0

He's seen the fabric because we're using a swatch to choose his shirts (don't want a white shirt to make my very ivory dress look grubby!) but aside from that, no.
When we first got engaged we were talking about it, and i had in my head a rather posh frock from Karen Millen or Oasis, i rarely get to buy a flash dress like that, so i was going to. (I've done the big white dress thing once before). Anyway, he then said "You are going to wear a proper dress aren't you? I don't want you in something from Oasis, people won't know you're the bride" which rather did my head in!! So now i'm having a silk ivory frock made, it's very lightweight, so not "proper" in the strictest sense, but it's not from a shop either so hopefully i'll fit his image of bride!!saving up another deposit as we've lost all our equity.
We're 29% of the way there...0 -
OH helped me choose my dress and was the only person to see it before the wedding

Don't worry.he is a man. He will have forgotton by the time its the big day.
I left my ideal dress pic on the laptop, went for a wee and when i came back, he was on the laptop and said..OMG that dress is awful and would make you look like a marshmellow, HA HA HA...
so...least he didn't comment on the dress!
:jMarried on 12.12.12 to the best man alive! - FACT!:j0 -
Even if your H2B knows the colour and a blurted description of your dress, he will still be fairly clueless about what it will actually look like! I could describe my dress in detail to my H2B and he still would not be much the wiser about how I will look!
He does know the colour though (assuming I can find the right fabric!), and he will know what colour my MoH will be in too - otherwise how will he get his outfit to match?
