Not sure how much more I can take...

I've been on my debt clearing mission for a while now and don't feel like I'm getting anywhere. I hate my job but feel so trapped while I have debts. And this week has just left me feeling so down. I need new summer clothes and can't afford any. Need new work shoes but begrudge paying the prices for them. And just had a phone call from Egg, who I have not long opened a 0% cc with, to tell me my payment has failed and if I want to keep the 0% I have to pay immediately.....I just feel like I'm achieving nothing but a feeling of dread at this time of the month when payday is still over two weeks away and i'm struggling to afford food and petrol. I already work two jobs and feel as though I am very much at my limit with everything right now.... :(

I think any positive steps to deal with debt are to be respected - dont be so hard on yourself!!!

RE new work shoes, check out crazy clearance;; just google it. I got red leather flatties for work for 11 quid and a pink pair for 12 quid. I thought that a good price for leather. Worth a look - they are owned by the simply be lot, so you could possibly find a code for free delivery or a discount for being a new customer too :)

    Take care x

Hi Angel84 dont beat yourself up too much its a hard thing to deal with and of course it will get you down - i have days where i just think i want to bury my head back in the sand as to be honest the reality is just too scary and hard sometimes! Try to have some treats for yourself i find little things make a difference and can really change your day round - i find a hot bubble bath with a good book is a great help sometimes if not a good vent on here will always make me feel loved as people rally round to offer hugs!! Have you been on the OS board? ive found some great tips on meal planning and managed to make a 3 week meal planner by using up what i have in and buying very little shopping. The petrol thing is a nightmare as i often play petrol roulette which cannot be healthy for my poor car but i just sometimes cant afford to put much in so i try and walk or not use it unless i really need to (stops me from going out to 'look' in the shops too) Sorry i cant offer much advice but try to keep positive and look at what you have achieved so far instead of how far there is still to go!

    Hugs Tink x

BLESS YOU,you are doing well, its never going to be straight forward....
am no expert here, but plenty here are,can you post SOA and see if anyone can advise?
re the CC payment....have you got funds to cover it,or could you beg, borrow (not steal!) it as it would be an awful shame to lose the 0% deal.
is the payment a big one?
    good luck,best wishes to you
