They are £2.97 and £2.99 is asda and sainsbury's atm. Usually I just buy £25 worth on the tassimo site at £2.99 each to get the free delivery.0

£2.99 at our local small tescos (not a tesco express) and £2.99 from our local asda. HTH0

Can someone just tell me how many cups of coffee one actually gets for that £10? Sorry, it just seems an awful lot of money to me:o"there are some persons in this World who, unable to give better proof of being wise, take a strange delight in showing what they think they have sagaciously read in mankind by uncharitable suspicions of them"(Herman Melville)0

I've had tassimo since the first model came out a few years back, look in the reduced to clear section in the supermarkets, they are always selling them off (usually pay about 99p for a pack of 10), we havent paid full price for the pods for ages now and they still taste just as good well after their BBE date.

One pack has 16 discs usually (starbucks has 12). If they are standard coffee that's 16 drinks, if it is a latte it is 8 drinks as you use 1 coffee disc + 1 milk disc.
So 4 packs for *$10 = 4x16 for $10 = 64 for $10 = around 16p per drink.
Sounds reasonable to me for the convenience and quality.
*sorry I'm on an Canadian keyboard, i'll be back visiting for Christmas and am seeing how much the discs cost in UK. I have one myself here and am thinking of buying my parents one when i get there.0 -

I have had a tassimo for a couple of years... I love coffee and cannot say I am impressed with it...have been buying the nescafe cappuccino sachets (that you make with the kettle!) instead as I find them more appealing... I don't know what the newer versions of the tassimo are like... sorry to hijack your post, but I am tempted to replace mine with one of those Dolce Gustos... anyone had any experience with both?0 -
I haven't experienced the gusto but I have used the Keurig and it's K-Cup system.
For just coffee I think it is better than the Tassimo. For availability, variety (and starbucks) Tassimo is better.
I'd be interested to know if anyone has seen a Keurig for sale in Britain as I think it would be a better choice for my Dad, especially as with that one you can buy a custom filter that mean you can use your own coffee grinds ("My K-Cup").
If Tassimo also had a similar thing it would win hands down for me I think.
I've seen reviews of the gusto that say it is good, however you are locked into the Nescafe branded coffees so there isn't much variety and it is a little more expensive per cup than the other two.0 -
Hi I just got bought a Tassimo for christmas ,by my lids, bless 'em
I think it's great, however I wish they would do a refillable disc like the Senso/or k-cup..it would make me feel so much better about drinking my coffee !! I still use a french press as wll when I want more than one cup as this is much cheaper and i get the pleasure of trying different coffees. Come on Bosch/Tassimo you pride your self on being eco friendly ,lets have a refillable 0
