  • you can't have presents and entertainment, but you can have an emergency fund and more on grocery shopping so shift some of it over. Increase your groceries too so that you have less than £20 over, as this is the limit now for an IPA.

    :D @ TQ.

Thought about the Emergancy Fund but with the SoA being so tight
I think it is better off in groceries.

Sweet Pea, bung your details into the www.entitledto.co.uk website and make sure you are getting all your benefits as a family.

Is that your husbands full income or what he contributes?
  • Thats his full income, he is only working part time as he is also a full time student, we are also funding his studies as he wasnt eligible for student finance. Just not sure if i should put his full income down like that or if some of it should be kept back as it is only me going br. thanks for all replies so far

Do you need a car, your outgoings for a car are circa £180. After going br do you think you can afford this expense?

I cannot see how you will get an IPA as your income is all benefits, but this is a large outgoing.

Sweet Pea as I said in my post, take the car expenses off and reduce your OH's contribution.

Also check out the link I posted.
