Credit reports - PROBLEMS WITH CONFIRMING IDENTITY - HELP!!

Any advice would be gratefully recieved?

Ive applied for my credit reports via the post from Equifax, Experian and Call Credit. I couldnt do it online as i have lived at 5 addressess in the last 6 years (due to relationship break ups and short rental leases on properties!) andI suspect this is why they cannot authorise me online.

Ive recieved letters from all 3 saying they need further address verification. Problem is ive only just moved in to my current address with my new partner and do not pay any utility bills here. I only have a business bank statement and a vehicle registration document. they are asking for OLD non photo driving licence, credit card statements.

the problem is as i have had several addresses, and i didnt want any important financial documents going to rented accomodations AFTER i had moved i arranges a secure correpspondance address at my parents house.

I cannot get hold of any of these companies to actually talk to a human. Ive tried ringing (always automated!) and faxing begging them to call me or at least give me that advice.

Has anyone been through this and have any advice, or at least the phone number of anyone IN PERSON to talk to on the phone. I need my credit report asap, and dont have time really to write ANOTHER letter asking what they need, only to recieve ANOTHER reply in the post telling me im screwed!

thanks all!

Hmm sounds like a bit of a pickle. The only thing I can think of is getting mail redirection from your last address and telling them you still live there and using some of your older bills.

You might need to go to your post office and give them your sob story or even work some charm. What's the harm in fluttering your eyelids to get you one step closer to your credit report?
