Need to borrow £1000- no help from banks

Hi guys,

Just want to first of all say hello, and how much I admire the community spirit that is present on this forum- it really is something else.

Anyway i'm 22 years old and have recently moved from my home in Scotland down to London to start a new job. My monies have taken a kicking since moving down- first of all through the extortionate rental prices and also due to excess nights out etc.

I earn £32,000 p/a and i am looking to borrow £1000, I currently have a credit card with £1500 budget that is around £1200 in use and also stupidly took a Wonga loan out so I am also due them £500 too at the end of the month. My credit rating is green according to equifax but I have had a two or three late payments in 2009/early 2010

I've asked my bank for the money but they aren't willing to help as i'm still in my graduate overdraft limit, and i've failed applications for another two loans from tesco and sainsburys so my credit has took a real kicking in the last few days or so. Therefore i've got to sort something out soon as I can't really apply to them again. I am looking to pay this off in the next 3-10 months.

Can anyone help?

Ask your employers if they have a loan scheme that is deductible from your wages.

Anymore suggestions you say you have a Wonga loan, the banks won't help you,you have a nearly Maxed out credit card, and you earn 32k a year.

    Need I say no more.

    potential sources of credit are
    -parents
-overdraft (presumably they won't extend the OD)
    -bank loan (you've been refused
    -credit cards
-credit unions (but you usually have to save there for a few months before being accepted for a loan)

so that leaves parents or maybe a new CC.

you don't say why you want the 1,000 but the other options are to increase income (maybe an evening job) cut spending drastically and budget
    -maybe try

stop and think of the road you are on...get off it before you end up in the deep...good luck.
It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.
