Who's got the biggest mortgage on here?

Just to make me feel better, was wondering who 'wins' the competition for the biggest mortgage on here and you are overpaying to reduce it? What sort of home did you buy and has it been worth it or just a nightmare?

To many my mortgage must seem minuscule but to me it's huge as I don't earn a huge salary but it's still a constant worry to me as I don't want to lose my home. I have just started to pay over payments this month, how much do you pay a month and what's the OP you pay on a huge mortgage, do you think you will achieve it??

we brought our first home in 2007 for £250,000 and took out a mortagage for £212,500. We managed to get it down to £184,619.00 this month as thats because we made ops of £7,800 this month! Its our first op since 2007.

was it worth it??? well.... we have spent £20,000 gutting it and redecorating it and so are not happy with that. We were very young (24 and 26) when we took out our mortagage and in a way, happy to be on the property ladder. However, 3 and half years later we are now much more educated in looking at houses and estimating how much it would cost us to complete jobs on them.Defo good life experience!
