Also ordered mine on 9th March & received on 12th March! Great little book about all of the Zinsser products available & what they can do, does say on the website & book that it's a pocket guide so I wasn't surprised about the size.
I've used the Zinsser BIN before on my tongue & groove varnished panelling in my kitchen. I couldn't get anything else to stick to it, but this did it no problem. I then just painted it with normal paint so I could have whatever colour I wanted in there. It also dried really quickly which I was very impressed with, kitchen decorating was done in next to no time.0 -
Ditto
I had a thick vanished painted tongue and grooved ceiling in living room. I got a handyman round (plasterer by trade) he said have to rip ceiling off and move coving. Dulux said I would have to remove the vanish they have no product that will paint over vanish.
Zinseer bin two coats and two coats of Dulux paint for ceilings and did the trick. No flaking in 3 years, brilliant product. It might be a little more than ordinary paint but well worth the money, time is money and all inconvenience of faffing about
