Update! Since getting engaged and having a bit of luck the other week our luck turned when our new (to us) car got broken into after 5 days of having it....it was the car we got to replace the one that got broken into and written off 6 weeks ago (right outside our house, both times in the "nice" bit of town!). We lost 2 years of no claims and are looking at getting it fixed (bust passenger side lock and glovebox), this time off our own backs as we don't want to lose any of the 2 years no claims we have remaining.....little sods, why do people think they have the right totry and take whats not theirs?! We are definitely going to get an alarm fitted which is another expenditure. Luckily my very generous grandmother sent us a cheque for £100 as an engagement gift which will go a long way to fixing the damage!

On the plus side, I'm about to go to DHL to pick up a parcel, I am not sure what it is, it might be one of the things i've won mentioned above that hasn't been received yet, or a mystery prize, OOOOOOH, exciting!! I will let you know what it is! And I've just had a real coffee (only ever drink instant at work) with my new cafetiere that I won yesterday through work, we had Green awards and my office won the gold and silver award for our efforts in staying green and recycling waste! We got a lovely Divine hamper of chocolate and coffee and a set of posh glasses, so we split it between 9 of us and I came away with the cafetiere and a posh packet of coffee!
