How to get rid of black mould spots on kids toys ?!

I have recently purchased some 2nd hand kids toys and I've noticed they have lots of tiny little black spots I'm guessing these are from being stored in the attic. These items are highly coloured so don't want to use any bleach products. I have washed twice on a super long wash at 60o and it didn't really help.
Does anyone have any experience in this type of thing ?
What should I use and how ?
I don't want to spend a fortune on products that may not work

    I've just learned this... you can steam clean or if you haven't got a steamer then you could dip in milton, bleach or napisan solution and rinse & spin in your WM to dry.

    Wipe down with vinegar, then put in the wash with some washing soda crystals.
