Is this actually a joke?
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/tvandradio/bbc/8370470/Labour-complains-to-BBC-in-cuts-or-savings-row.html
How can anyone actually take them seriously? They have refused to ring fence NHS spending and they complain about this?
LOL
Its clear their campaign message is anti cuts. Period. Nothing else.

Hang on, I thought the BBC was run by a bunch of commies, spewing forth leftie filth on every channel?
I recommend David Attenborough's autobiography; it's a good read from many angles, but interesting to hear his views on many decades of working at the BBC; he observed that whoever was in opposition bleated about bias, and then when governments changed the next lot would complain in exactly the same manner. They are an EYESORES!!!!0 -
a political point scoring thread from yet another condem mouthpiece? Those who will not reason, are bigots, those who cannot, are fools, and those who dare not, are slaves. - Lord Byron0

You are seriously citing David Attenborough as an impartial source!?
Certainly, the BBC acts as the unofficial opposition. Whoever is in power, it criticizes their policies from the Left.
Peter Sissons had it about right: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1349506/Left-wing-bias-Its-written-BBCs-DNA-says-Peter-Sissons.html0 -

Yes, bizarre isn't it'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -
The BBC belongs to the government, it is nothing more than a propaganda machine for spewing out government rhetoric, that is why we the public have to pay for it by law. It is one of the many sources of jobs for redundant MP's who continue to get paid as directors at the tax payers expense, one of the many parts to what MP's call the gravy train. Hence the endless repeats.0

I'ts not supposed to be an impartial source; it's a personal memoir. He spent most of his life in the Natural History unit; hardly a hotbed of political protest. That's why he found it amusing that every few years when governments changed the accusations of bias would swap around, while he was still doing exactly the same job.
I've read the Sissons quote before. Could it be that you don't see many copies of the Daily Wail lying around workplaces such as the BBC because it's a poorly-written comic that well educated people don't tend to buy? They are an EYESORES!!!!0 -
Time for a few more "Savings" at the BBC I expect.0

Don't get a license, and don't watch/record broadcast TV.
Nobody is forced to pay for the BBC.0
