Ditto - although I am not sure whether mine are bird mites, I know they are some kind of blood sucking insect. They tend to come in during the night and then bite me, but for some reason DH gets ignored. I have put it down to being a certain blood type that they prefer/go after. I kept thinking it was me, then last month I came to conclusion they are coming in through the open bedroom window having a feed off me and then clearing off again. It stopped three weeks ago! I was fed up of constantly getting 'dined out on' quite honestly! Even the residents bats around our way didn't clear them!
