Sandosk Sansa m240 - 1GB MP3 player

I purchased this MP3 player from Amazon.co.uk.

As per described on the amazon.co.uk, this product has integrated FM radio with 20 presets, but the piece I have received does not have FM radio. :mad:

When I got this, I did some research, also went through the manual they sent with this product.

Ultimately, I checked sandisk.co.uk and searched this product, they have mentioned that 'No FM tuner for Europe'.

That means Amazon.co.uk has provided wrong information in their adv.

What action I should take on this. If I return it, they will give my money back after 30days. Can I ask for replacement? Will they be able to send me the correct product?

If the model is simply unavailable with an FM tuner in Europe, I don't see how they could possibly provide you with an FM model, short of importing one such model as a one-off, but if SanDisk won;t allow them to be distributed in Europe with an FM tuner, this again could be problematic.

By offering a full refund, they're doing exactly what's required of them. It's probably an unfortunate mistake by Amazon rather than a deliberate attempt to mislead, and I'm sure they'll happily refund your money.

Best of luck in returning it, but it's probably more helpful to ask about this at Amazon rather than on here. By doing that, you also flag up the problem with their description.

I bought the 4gb sansa and it is also a good player, but on searching the net I found that it is not only software but there is no radio chip in european models, some garbage about EU import taxes, if you want rid of though, let me know as I want a cheaper player for jogging with, I may take it off your hands.
