Decent everyday mascara

I'm looking for recommendations for a decent mascara to wear everyday.

I use Avon Supershock for night time, but it's not really suitable for day wear.

tesco's barbara daly, in brown is a good everyday morning mascara for me. it gives my lashes structure, not too thick or clumpy and separates and makes them look long enough for daytime. very natural effect.

Clinique, High impact. Normally £15 retail, but is 1 of 10 freebies being given away with this months Glamour mag (£2). There were loads of issues with mascaras on in the shops.

Maybelline, the pink one with a black lid.
  • Surprised how good the latest L'Oreal one is. I am usually a Clinique devotee, but this one is very good.

I agree with the loreal one (gold tube, million lashes I think) being very good and Rimmel do fab mascaras at a decent price, I'm using the new green tube one atm and its excellent:)
Thank you for this site Martin

    Good luck for the future
  • Maybelline Great Lash (pink tube with green lid) or Masterpiece Max would get my vote.

i use boots natural collection waterproof mascara...only £1.99 and I find its just enough lift and colour for daytime, normally wear maybelline ones in black for evening as they are more dramatic.

I tried the non-waterproof natural collection one but found it to be a bit more smudgy..plus the waterproof one doesn't come off if I go to the gym after work!
  • Have since bought a sample size Clinque High Impact from Ebay.

Will let people know what I think when it arrives :)

    Thanks for the recommendations folks.

Don't know if they still make it, but Avon's Daring Curves is one of my faves.

And while I slammed JML's Magic Minerals Mineral Powder in another thread, the mineral mascara by them (£9.99) is really good - I was very impressed!

Hope you find something that suits you :)
