Lowering DMP payments

Hi
Quick question, I am on a DMP and pay 234 a month. We rent privately and need to move due to the size of the place we currently have. As the rental market has gone mad, we are probably going to end up paying £100 more a month or so in rent which will pretty much clean me out. Obviously I want to clear the debt but I also don't want to live without the basics for my kids. I don't want to drop the DMP by the full 100 but in people's experiences, if I wanted to drop the monthly payment to 184 or thereabouts, what is the likelihood of CCCS accepting and creditors agreeing?
Cheers in advance and please no comments along the lines of you shouldn't be moving etc if you are on a DMP. We need to move so not moving is not an option and keeping rent the same is not an option.
Thanks very much

I dont know the answer Im afraid but I have just applied to go on a DMP with Payplan and was advised that the £109 surplus I have each month was fine and that as long as I have £100 pounds surplus it would be accepted.
Good luck with the potential move, will you be going through a LA?DMP Mutual Support Thread Member 416

It is perfectly fine to lower DMP payments, we have done it twice. I think, as already been said, that £100 would be the minimum they will allow, but as your looking at £180 ish, this will be fine with them, just as long as your giving yourself enough for everything else.0
