Birthday / Mother's Day idea's

Hello!

Me and my brother (and his wife) are taking Mum out to a restaurant on her birthday in a couple of weeks, also going to be celebrating Mothers Day then too because there's not much difference between the days.

I'm getting a cake ordered that my brother will be picking up and taking with him. I've got a couple of ideas for presents but was wondering if you guys had anything original/unique?

Only snag is I can't really order anything from online because I don't get paid 'til a couple of days beforehand so plan on just going into town. She's not into jewellery/make up.

Just want something special basically, she's been really good to me and my brother especially the past year we've both been through difficult times.

I've just been looking at some of the hampers around here and I might just do that! Thanks!

If your mum likes reading you could always add in a bookmark then its something for her to keep when she's used all the smellies and ate all the edibles! My Mother In Law loved the bookmark we found for her from a shop, it was a little wooden one, she said it made her think of us when she reads - she reads alot!
