  • I am sorry.

This all became way, way too much for my wife and I, and we had to withdraw from it ALL.

I applaud the work you are doing, Mike, but I simply couldn't get on board with this crusade. We simply had to baton down the hatches, and start again. I am not happy I have lost so much, but we just had to move on. Good luck with the TV Mike, and well done with the amazing response you have garnered. I hope the little !!!!!!!s fry in hell.

Sorry to hear that you have been having a tough time.

Im also sorry to hear that things have got so intense that you have felt the need just to walk away and start again. It shouldnt be like this, why should we?

My opinion (and i understand that it is my opinion) that i could not just walk away and start again i felt the need to speak up, go to the media and get this out there. I could not stay quiet on this in case it would happen again and i felt that it was my responsibility in speaking up so not to allow it to happen again.

Thank you for your comment regarding what not only what i am doing but also what the likes of shaney is also doing in getting this into the public spotlight and when we do get some action im sure you will benefit.

We may not see any of our money ever again but at least we can try to get some of these people ideally behind bars but at the least stopped from ever being on a position where they could destroy peoples lives in the way that they have.

They simply cannot be allowed to get away with this. Too many peoples lives have been destroyed, not only those in debt itself but those of their families, whom have to now make sacrifices they have already made, or have to endure more heartache in going down alternative routes that they have tried endlessly to avoid.

Its not a crusade, it simply putting our hands up and highlighting that we have been criminally wronged, there is too much these days of the "old british stiff up lip" and rolling over and taking it and i for one (and im sure shaney and others on here will agree with me) cannot abide by this principle any more. People have to understand that these people (DCM directors) have stolen Millions of other peoples money, DCM staff knew and stood by and watched them do it. All of these people should be held account for their actions. Whilst i accept there will be those who will only want to start again and not want the hassle of persuing this im sorry but me personally i cannot understand this approach of drawing a line under this and starting again from stratch.

Why should anyone including you have to start again after paying these people thousands of pounds of your hard earned money?

I do agree with mike, none of us should let the clown outfit get the better of us, this definately is not a crusade, yet in my mind a fight for justice that has been brought on by a total injustice by those that have a total disregard for those dcm clients that put their trust and faith in a debt management company that is like no other in the way that it doesnt rip its clients off. If that isnt an injustice i dont know what is.

I think we owe it to ourselves to persue these people to the ends of the earth.

If nothing we can gleen from this is that it is only us that is going to fight for justice with a few friends that we have made on here that whilst are fortunate not to be affected by the whole DCM situation but are helping all the same.

It is even easier for these people not to get involved but they have got involved because they see the injustice that we have been taken in by and are not perpared to stand by. These people deserve our thanks too.

Chaps- no offence, but I chose my words very carefully, and I am sorry you have chosen to pounce on my use of the word "Crusade". A definition:

"To lead or take part in an energetic and organised campaign concerning a social, political or religious issue.....typically motivated by a fervent desire for change".

This is EXACTLY what you are doing, and it was meant in a positive context.

I am totally in favour of what you are doing, and yes- I agree that I may seem a little lazy in not taking up this issue wholeheartedly, but here's the rub: I lost £4500. I am broke. I HATE my job. I hate myself for the situation I am in. I go to work daily and run the risk of being seriously assaulted. I don't sleep. My wife is devastated that we lost this money, and is inconsolable. There is little to no chance of retrieving any of this money. Because of the group I work with, it would be plain stupid to go on TV, because it would identify where I live. I wake up most mornings and want to kill the person who convinced me to take up this Mickey Mouse DMP. I am miserable, short-tempered and a totally inappropriate mouthpiece.

I came back to applaud the work you're doing, and you appear to have missed the point completely.

I understand where you are coming from and I didn't take your post as a crticism, quite the reverse.

It is great what Mike and Shaney are doing and all the time and effort is greatly appreciated and MAYBE those responsible will be brought to book but it is by no means certain as they seem to have wriggled off the hook before to reoffend and Mike and Shaney and others are doing their best to put a stop to their reign.

But you do have your own safety and well being to consider and that is paramount.

We are unlikey to get any of our money back it's true but this exposure is surely going to put a stop to this evil practice and hopefully we will be the final victims and those responsible should find themselves at Her Majestiy's Pleasure which is some comfort, and as my old granny wouuld have said 'That will stop them farting in church' (Sorry if that offends anyone)

    Mothermercury30.

You are not alone, i have repeatedly said on here that we are all on here to support you. Never feel like you are alone.

Now regarding my situation and i hope you can see that my personal circumstances are not without similiar stresses.

I am a quantity surveyor, to those who do not know what one of them does, when we look and audit construction company accounts. The fact of going bankrupt really places my career on hold until such time as i am discharged. They dont tend to like bankrupts looking after their money when in their eyes i cant look after my own.

Then there was the reason why im off work. I would not have needed to go bankrupt if it wasnt for my local hospital missing some labrum tears 8 years ago the result of which was my shoulder failing and having to be completely rebuilt. I now cannot afford to damage this shoulder as future damage will now be permanent.

Then there is my 4 year old son whom has just been diagnosed with autism.

Then there is the DCM situation

All of this has happen in the last 12 months.

My wife is also competely inconsolable, many sacrifices have been made and now thanks to DCM they will have to made again. The redundancy given to me from my employer has had to go to fund my bankruptcy.

Had i been out of debt i would now be able to provide for my autistic son, they havent and this responsibility for any things that he needs that are expensive now falls on my wifes shoulders to provide. Any father at this stage would understand the pain of not being able to provide for your son whom has problems that are beyond his control.

You see we are all in this nasty horrible world of S**T, however despite this we are all here to help, and lets be honest it will take a person in this world of S**T to understand the kind of feelings that we have every moment of every day

Please do not think that i do not go over every step of the DCM saga, i do every moment of every day.

For us to stay silent and not put our hands up and highlight what has happened we run the risk of being stigmatised as being careless, the fact is that most of us, accepted we had a problem and tried to do something about it, only after we did, did we present an opportunity for someone to pray on us and take our money.

Now i would want EVERYONE to know this very point. It provides hopefully some closure when these people have to answer for what they have done so that nobody finds themselves in the levels of dispair that we have had to face over the last few months and will have to in the coming months also.

For us to stay silent and not to raise this, for these people to do it again makes us no better that the employees of this company that stayed silent. It is our moral responsibilty to raise this, shout this out so that they dont do it again and if they are presented with ANOTHER opportunity at least we can sleep silently and say we tried to stop them.

If you look at the description of the programme it clearly indicates that i am from Cwmbran in south wales. People in Cwmbran will know me and some people around south wales will know me because of the job i undertook.

I still felt it my responsibility to try despite the damage it would do to me from a reputation point of view.

At least after this programme i have had the opportuntity to show that i tried and i only failed because of the actions of others.
