Hi does anyone know of any places in n.ireland who will value my car online and perhaps buy it? I have tried a couple of places already we buy any car etc.but they seem to be all in england and one who did call me offered a ridiculous price £2100 and said it was so low cause he would have to pay ferry tickets etc.Its a 2006 ford focus cmax 1.6 zetec mot,d taxed just serviced and in excellent condition has 54,000 miles and new tyres just fitted.if anyone knows any addresses Id be grateful thanks.

buymycar-ni have been advertising on gumtree for cars...

Their websites a bit basic, but i think their service is decent enough.0 -
You could try http://www.cashforcarsni.com/ but I don't know if you'll get a good offer. They're traders and are looking to make money from you as always.Norn Iron Club Member No. 252 :beer:0

Why not get a value by looking at others for sale online and then put your car up for sale privately to get the maximum value from it, I put a 99 hyundai on gumtree with no picture and sold it a day later !0 -
you could try cashforcarsni.they are based in dundonald.like to know how you get on.0

i think for that car you will be lucky to get over £4000 to be honest, but yeah 2100 is crazily low!
just by going on auto trader i can see the closest to your model is a 2006 2 litre one, trying to be sold at £5200, if you advertise at around 5k you may get an offer in and around 4500ish, which would be good, but if you try to sell it to one of those valuation sites then you will be looking at around 1k less than it is worth.0 -

Wouldn't trust that company at all, based purely on their website. Hosted blog at Wordpress.com, with the domain name masked and no details about the actual location of the company... screams "dodgy!" to me!0 -

You should get a proper valuation using http://www.glass.co.uk/ and then you will know if you are getting ripped off. Costs £3.50 though but could be money well spent.0 -
Glass site will give you a valuation. Still doesn't mean you will get that price. Run it thru an car auction with a realistic reserve, if you don't want the hassle of selling it privately0

True, though maybe they are better at valuing cars than building websites...0 -
What car.com .............you can get free valuations on their website...they dont buy from you but should give you a rough idea of asking price. What someone will offer you is another thing. Good luck.0
