Its scary to see that after a month or two there could be £80 in it.
By doing this it shows the odds of these things. To win a £25 Jackpot, over £125 needs to go into the machine- a £250 jackpot machine needs in excess of £1500!!!
I NEVER PLAY THESE IN ARCADES as my machine shows that you will NEVER win.
Good luck to the OP.
Yeah, good point.
Still amazes me that the bookies claim these fixed odds betting terminals to be random.
In my days of playing them, you were able to walk up to the counter and get the member of staff to transfer an amount of money into the machine from the counter.
if they are able to do that from the counter, then what else is being controlled
Your money is no doubt the obvious answer.....0 -
I've also had the same problems. Playing online slots, couple of wins then before you know it you are playing just to get your money back (you never do though). Started to get payday loans just to cover what I had lost so OH didn't find out. A fews months ago decided enough was enough we where getting deeper in debt and it was my fault.
Payday loans now on repayment plans, due to finish in a month or so. I've self exluded myself online, I initially tried this before but it was only for 30 days so everytime the exclusion was up it was payday and the vicious circle started again. I am now exluded for 6 months. I don't have any bookies near but I never used them anyway it was just online also no interest in the games machines in the pub.
Also tried to work out why this all started as it was only in the last year or so. No great change had happened in lifestyle or job. I eventually put it down to boredom. OH works nights so instead of watching tv I would log online and "try" to win money, usually what I lost the previous time. Realised I needed something else to occupy me and I have done my family tree which took quite a while (using free trials for family history sights and the local library) but I have also bought some PC games (the finding hidden items kind) went to the exchange shops so only paid a couple of pounds for them but they keep my hooked for ages.
Definately recommend the self exclusion and maybe like I did find out why, other than the trying to win back what you lost, you go line in the first place.0 -
