Tuesday 8th March - What small DFW things have you done today?!
Comments
-
Morning all,
Today has not started in a DFW way...
My phone battery died during the night so I had to give it a quick charge this morning, & I ended up a few minutes late for work so have had to spend £7 in parking fees for the day  I can claim it back on expenses fortunately but I really don't have £7 for parking, they still owe me £7 from last month! Must start getting up earlier again, maybe even early enough to walk to work...I'm running low on petrolI had to grab my £2 coin piggy bank just so I can bank it at lunchtime today & get some.
Still.......bring on the pancakes!!! :j

Perni - from yesterday - for me yoga is strange in that I never really notice the benefits when I'm doing it regularly, but I really notice when I don't do it. If I miss a couple of weeks of classes I won't be able to do postures that I could do a couple of weeks before and my body will ache for a day or two after the class. Tonight I'm going to try the video they put on at Christmas (not the one that the men are doing outside but the other one). Think it's called something about weightloss. That's the one I watched the other night and looked quite good. OH is out tonight so perfect excuse
I find I only do it when he's out too.
Sorry La escocesa I didn't get round to reading this yesterday!
I think it will definitely help with flexibility, certain moves I could really feel the muscles stretching which was good, but at the same time it's very gentle, I didn't have the same aches for days that I do if I've missed taekwon do for a couple of weeks! I will have to check out the weightloss one soon, hopefully ThursdayI'm glad I'm not the only one who waits until the OH is out!

Hope all is well with your scan results Pixie
I am off sick today as I started what I think is a cold yesterday, and had no sleep. I am not sure whether it is in fact a cold or my asthma / rhinitis/ year round hay fever thingy playing up and not responding to meds. I think on balance a cold as I am shivery as well
Though it doesn't help with the other things either- ooh listen to me, what a hypochondriac :rotfl:
I always feel really guilty when I take a day off workand hardly ever do.
So, not much today as I feel yucky; DD2 left her dog here too, and he is being a pain in the !!!!!,so it looks as though even less will get done than I thought
But will do:
HM meals from stores
Speak nicely to chooks in the hope that they lay some eggs
Keep an eye on ebay items which both have bidsWe are moving later this year, and I have been decluttering. Lots gone to recycling, CS etc, but it is amazing how many things there seem to be that are saleable, even though I don't really think I buy much. I am finding one or two things a week, some of which have been around for ages, and while they don't make a fortune, I might as well have a few pounds in the bank than a lot of clutter gathering dust
Not NSD though, as I need to research laptops for my 16 year old DGS1. The one I bought him a couple of years ago has gone kaput. It hasn't exactly been looked after, or I would have a go at returning it to Currys, even though it is out of the guarantee period. It is in such a state though that I would be embarrassed
Kids, I dunno! But he does need it for his coursework. His Mum and Dad are permanently skint (can't say anything as my DiL would be offended, no LBM there as yet unfortunately) so I really do need to help out. Isn't it funny, if it were one of my DDs I would really tell them off :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Hopefully now DGS1 is 16 (birthday today, so at least it can be his birthday present) he will be able to find a part time job, as DGS2 is starting his GCSE courses this autumn and he will need one as well :eek:
Still, it is nice to be able to do things for them, and if I continue to be frugal I can
Have a lovely day ladies (and gentlemen?)0 -
