  • Probably Not. I bought lots from a similar site for my 6 yr old. Fab quality, looks very real. There tends to be identical items on ebay if you was to search hello kitty watches and hunt out the items from hongkong. Look good but don't expect them to be genuine ;)

I didn't think so,but some people won't be aware of this and you will have to send them back overseas for example if there's a problem, but with items beong so cheap i guess people don't bother if something is broken etc.

    Debt-free and Proud!
Official hello kitty is made by Sanrio, as a fan I only collect Sanrio products.
Debt free since July 2013! Woo hoo! The bank actually laughed when I said I have come in to cancel my overdraft.

If people don't mind buying fake items that's upto them, some may say they aren't fake as such, but they aren't official items and as such in my eyes they are fake, personally i'd be the same,i don't buy unofficial goods,Ebay is flooded with them as it is.

It's just cheap fake tat basically, wouldn't say it was a grabbit seeing as though it's not official licensed merchandise.

You just can't please some people, can you .....................

I have a friend who spends a fortune on genuine offical Hello Kitty merchandise HOWEVER she also buys unofficial merchandise to actually wear - as she says, if it gets scratched or broken it has cost her very little whereas if she damaged something valuable or limited edition she would be mortified! I actually brought her loads of unofficial watches back from Hong Kong a few years ago and they are still working (costs more for new batteries LOL)

I think people are being very disparaging - the OP was only trying to give us the 'heads up' on a bargain & I for one am graeful for that.

All 'Hello Kitty' merchandise (along with pretty much everything else now!) is made in the Far East. Basically, you are just cutting out the 'middle men' here & buying it at what is effectively the 'wholesale' price. You could buy it from a local UK gift shop - pay 6+ times as much & still have exactly the same item!
If you personally feel happier doing that - fine! But no need to insult the OP & deprive the rest of us of a bargain!

I didn't mean to insult the OP at all, so I hope they haven't taken it that way. For all we know, they might not have realised that the watches are not legit.

It's like me posting a thread saying you can get Uggs for £4.99, then posting this link : http://www.shoezone.com/Womens-Boots/Black-Button-Detail-Womens-Knitted-Boots/18202

If an item has a name/brand/picture on it, then it should be official and licensed, that's all I'm saying as I don't think it's very MSE to go fake.

No offense to the OP but its all fake just take a look at the iphone links. If people want a bargain fine then go to the market and buy your fake goods there.
Its not that we have more patience as we grow older, its just that we're too tired to care about all the pointless drama ;)
