Bailiff Question

I know the title is a bit vague. My fella wants me to move in with him. I have sorted all of my debts out (eventually) and have started to build up my collection again (eg TV, Comp that sort of thing) the thing is he has bailiffs chasing him, i don't want to move in with him if all of my gear is going to be taken by his bailiff they have not been in his house yet, they have only sent threatening letters so far, he is really trying to sort himself out he is one of these unlucky people that took out finance then got laid off.
Where do i stand with my stuff if they come a knocking.

As long as no one allows the bailiffs in, or leaves a door or window unlocked then there is very little they can do as they cannot force entry UNLESS he has allowed them entry previously.

He has promised me that they have not been in the house..i can believe him, but we might as well live in a cave keeping windows and doors locked constantly....everything/one needs 'fresh' air.
