New to Tesco - 1000 Extra Points ?????

Hello All !
I am new to Tesco online shopping, and clubcard vouchers. Could someone please explain to me, what I can do with 1000 points.
I have had a look around on here, but am still not sure

You collect up all your points and every quarter Tesco send out tokens with all your points you have collected that quarter. You can save these up, spend in store for face value or convert them into deals for days out, holidays, stuff from MFI etc and they are worth 4 times their face value.

NEVER just spend them in store, you can sell them on ebay or here for more than their face value

You can also scan this board for tips on gaining more points. Its very addictive but lots of fun.

i bought a new sink from MFI in the summer for nearly £400 and last week l went a got a new table and 6 chairs and only had to put £40 towards it. I love Tesco points.

1000 Clubcard points is worth £10.00 in Clubcard vouchers or a whopping £40.00! in Deals Vouchers :T (MFI, Alton Towers, Magazine Subscriptions, Restaurants etc).

I'm saving mine at the moment for a new kitchen at MFI. In the past I have used them for holidays, pamper days, bowling, meals out, and HSA.

I've saved mine and am going to Egypt in February all inclusive, paid totally with Tesco clubcard points. There is 2 adults and 2 children going. I have also paid for flights to Benidorm in July with them and I have only been collecting for a year.

I am now saving for florida in 2009. It will be hard to resist spending them next year on another holiday but will have to resist and keep saving for the next couple of years!!!!!

How long are you allowed to save them up for? Do they not expire? Sorry am new to this too. Only been collecting for a month and already have 800 points and a third of that was on R&R's!!

The expiry date is on them but you can return them to get the date re-done nearer to the expiry date if your saving for something big.
I have also just seen on the MFI site that they are stopping the deals, its says that you must get any deals in by April next year !!!!!!!!!

i have posted a warning else where and MFI dont have an exact date yet
