Well....I may be broke but.....

The Battle has started.
After my light bulb moment I started on my first mission this month of not spending a mad amount of money on nothing. I have so far achieved this and watched all of the friends episodes that my GF has on DVD up to series 8. It passes the time and is free, as she owns them already. Bonus!!
I am not at work at the moment due to a suspension (Now there is some serious money wasting going on there. My case should hopefully be finalised after 2 1/2 years tomorrow and I reckon it has cost at least £160,000 so far. My barrister alone costs £700 a day, and there are 4 of them involved in this case so far!!! ). Anyway.....I had all my travel privelidges revoked as part of my suspension and had to pay the £30 a shot to get to London for Court and hearings etc. This is money I can all claim back (if I win. I won the court case totally, and now have to satisfy the bosses at a panel.....tomorrow is hopefully the last day. Don't even get me started. I now know why most if not all coppers are so disinterested in dealing with cases and the public. I am sad to say that I will be from now on). I told one of the Prosecution officers the other day that I couldn't afford the tickets so they are buying them now, which is relieving the strain on my account massivley. As soon as I'm reinstated should I win, then I get back about £400+......WWOOOHHOOO!!!
I got nearly all of my Ebay money and dumped it in the account to keep me away from breaching the OD again.
I am awaiting the result of my medical for the £1960 12 day medical trail I hope to do.....
And now I am crossing my fingers as I post my 1st claim for charges tomorrow to FD via recorded delivery. I got all my statements, and worked it all out, and it comes to about £1330 plus interest of about £100. I have the Abbey to do next and they might be bigger!!
Right. Big day tomorrow.....so beddy bo bo's for me.

Right. some news........some good(ish) and some not.
1) I finally, after 2 1/2 years of being on suspension and restriction, winning a crown court case and sitting through a disciplinary panel, my complaint is over at last. The cost to me? My fiance, my stepdaughter, my house, £12,500 of debts, promotion within my career, losing out on a position I had always wanted and total demoralisation.
The penalty........3 of the 4 charges were dropped, and 1 was found "proven". The sanction is that I was fined £500.
On top of this I was advised with word from the wise that I would be in serious trouble if I did the medical experiments.........so no £1960 for me there either.
Great.
The upsides are I didn't lose my job and the thing I was found guilty of is minor enough to not give anyone the wrong idea about me.
Now I have my life back and reinstated. Now I have my life back I can move on when I want to and do what I choose to as opposed to be being led through the nose like a slave.
So......some money ideas quashed and an extra expense heaped on my head by my caring force. Well whatever. It's all over and I am relieved as hell. 35 yrs old, no real worries anymore, and a little debt I am clearing with advice from here.
Good news:
Sent claim letter 1 to FD, and am waiting for stage 2, or money!!
Awaiting mail from Abbey so I can start on them.
Might go modelling for artists at a local college for £75 an hour. Nudity doesn't bother me.
A bit glum (dammit....£500!!!!), but mainly happy. I am free to be me again, instead of prisoner jay.:beer:FD claim WON!!!!

For £75 an hour I would consider modelling - if they paid me by the pound (in weight) I would be really well off.lol;)
