In control, paying off. But want the monkey off my back?

Long story short I owed at one point £30,000 with HSBC via loans and credit cards. I got all the interest and PPI knocked off, I currently stand at just over £7000. I am paying it off at £165 a month, and of course it comes off the balance as there is no interest.
I am doing via MCS ( metropolitan collection services ) which of course is just HSBC in house collection. They are always eager to offer me discounts etc. However I am not in a position to give them a lump sum. I am comfortably managing what I owe.
What I would like to know is whether I should keep paying this off, or is there a way I can get rid of this early without rocking the boat.

Some people do offer 'full and finals' which are part payments which write the whole lot off. I've never done it myself though, I'm sure others could help more.Debt Free and Proud!0
