Castrol Magnatec at Asda

I was in Asda today and they were selling 4 Litres of Castrol Magnatec 5w-30 fully synthetic oil for £10. They did have other castrol ones for the same price. Don't know if this is store specific but it usually costs £25 - £30 pounds according to OH who told me to buy 2.

does anyone know if garages will let you provide your own preferred oil for the oil change when you get the car serviced? would this make the service a bit cheaper?0
