Just a point of interest, these cards [Nectar] are very insecure. I had over £200, saving them for Christmas for use in Argos brought three items which came to £173. Not once was I asked for any identification, they just swiped the card, no pin! So anyone could have used my card and got away with it.
    So, look after the cards.

It's a big security flaw that was highlighted by Which magazine a couple of years ago. I can't believe Nectar still haven't addressed it.

Basically if you lose your card or it gets nicked, anyone can go and spend the points in Argos - no questions asked - no PIN number needed or anything. This happened to a few people and Nectar refused to give the stolen points back to their rightful owners, even though Nectar's lack of security was to blame!

To be fair most loyalty cards are similarly flawed.

Boots Card is no safer, never been checked when using mine for purchases and I dont even think its signed.

    Should be PIN protected really.
