Does anyone know that whether we can pay Voluntary Class 3 National Insurance by credit card? And will I be charged extra for doing that?
Many thanks!

Yes. See http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/payinghmrc/
They charge 1.25% for Visa and Mastercard and 0% for debit cards. https://www.santanderbillpayment.co.uk/hmrc/scripts/index.asp
Pause for amusement. The service is now operated by Santander (previously RBS). I imagine they provide better service to HMG than they do to their private customers.0 -
Many thanks for the knowledgeable reply Roger1!
I guess it's the result of RBS branches in England having been bought by Santander?
Actually we pay our water bill (Northumbria Water) by santander bill payment system as well:-)0 -
As I recall it was actually previously run by Alliance & Leicester as a result of their takeover of Girobank.0
