Fantastic news!!!!!
Did you not know until they turned up how much you had actually won?
I knew what the prize amount total was but the way it works, the £30k is split between all tickets in your postcode. I had looked at historical winners though and there are VERY few south of england winners - I think they just haven't promoted it down here yet - so knew there was a fair chance I was the only ticket holder on my street. They emailed and called on friday to say I'd won 'at least £1000' and I didn't sleep all weekend with nerves and excitement. Getting rid of our debt will make such a HUGE difference its unreal.

Lucky you, congrats. :T
I've often thought about entering this but never have. Might reconsider now.
Enjoy your peace of mind.
I did have an advantage of not living in an area where there are a lot of players (the more players in your street the greater the chance of your street winning but equally the more players in your street, the lower each individual ticket's prize money)
It worked for me, I'm just hesitant to recommend any form of gambling unless you can afford to lose the money (which makes me rather hypocritical but hey!)2011: £30,000 on People's Postcode Lottery, Netbook, £35 voucher, 2x Xbox games0 -
