Apologies if there is a thread where this should go, I could only find Poundland.
Yesterday I found Jungle Formula wipes (pack of 15) and bottles of liquid. Their products are really expensive, couldn't find these exact ones on Boots website.
The wipes are handy, I have a severe allergy to mosquito bites so can keep these in my bag. Sometimes you don't realise there will be weasties about till you get there:)
They were in with the gardening stuff.

No not a one-off, this one:

Except if I enter my postcode it says there aren't any, so it's obviously not a very good website;)0 -
Ooh, thanks for this. I'll go and have a look in my local store tomorrow. This will come in real handy for when I go to India in a few weeks.

Just be careful when using the wipes, they do take colour off things like cheap jewellery and give you the pretty green ring around where your jewellery has been for more expensive stuff! Best bet is to get Skin so Soft from Avin the spray woodland fresh stuff. It's the best stuff and highly recommended. Usually around 2 for £5 AND it's a moisturiser.
I'm going to India in 3 weeks too Scaredcrow, where you off?Married the lovely Mr P 28th April 2012. Little P born 29th Jan 20140 -

Went to my local today, couldn't find any of these in the gardening section.
Jemb, I'm going end of next week, mainly Punjab area. Spending a few days in Delhi, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Amritsar, etc.
What about you? :happylove0 -
Don't want to rain on the parade but the Avon formula has changed and is not thought to be anywhere near as effective since.
I hesitate to commend DEET as it is vicious on everything except natural fibres, but if you dress conservatively (cover arms & legs) & consider "taking the veil" (or headnet!) you improve your odds a lot. Travelling with a smoker &/or someone who "tastes better" than you are also recommended tactics, but your mileage may vary!
Have a wonderful trip!:)

Or try brewers yeast and garlic capsules. Don't get smelly free garlic though, the stinkier the better as they hate it! I've still got some Avon from my job lot from last year. I just know the stuff I have went from me getting 20-40 bites in a holiday to the odd one or two.Married the lovely Mr P 28th April 2012. Little P born 29th Jan 20140
