Credit Resource Solutions - Need Help

Hi ,
Im currently having an issue with a DCA called credit resource solutions.. To cut a long story short at the beginning of last year I had motorbike insurance with Hastings Direct, i cancelled in August 2010 and rung through to cancel.. In the paperwork I originally got from the company it stated there would be a £35 cancelation fee if you cancelled early which i was fine with. When I came to cancel with hastings direct tried to charge me £85 as a cancellation fee. I disputed the fee but they wouldnt budge on it so i requested they send through in writing proof of how they find the final cost to be £85.. I heard nothing more.

Now, since then iv moved into a new flat and about a month or so ago a company called Credit Resource Soutions have been chasing me by E-MAIL ONLY, now the last time I spoke with hastings I gave them my new address as I was due to move but iv had nothing through the post.. The e-mails are becoming very regular and threatening but so far iv ignored them as I feel they shouldnt be chasing a debt via E-Mail when they should have my new address.

Every e-mail i receive from them seems to offer different full and final reduction percentages etc and threatening court, to arrange a house visit etc but they are now threatening court/ccj's etc. Here is the email i got this morning:

Dear Mr *********,
This e-mail gives you notice of potential legal action.
Subject to our client agreement I will prepare Count Court Papers to take this matter to Court.

If Judgement is obtained I anticipate additional cost of a minimum of £150 will be added to your account

It is in your interests to call me now
Yours sincerely,

Im just wondering as to what my best course of action should be as im now getting a little worried, I had no problem paying the £35 originally but refused to pay the £85 as they could not justify the extra and they would not take the £35 payment from me. Should I continue to ignore this CRS company via E-Mail or could they actually take out this CCJ against me via e-mail without contacting me via post? A quick google of this company shows there not the easiest to deal with so I dont really want to give them a call and be bullied into giving my phone number, address etc so they can harrass me by them methods too.

Thanks for any help :D

Do you have your insurance t&cs that state this £35. If so you have nothing to worry about.

Please note the potential court proceedings and potential legal proceedings.

Difference between here are court papers and we might send you court papers.

Send insurance a copy of t&cs stating £35 with a chq and saying matter closed.
I all have learnt is from others on many sites.
    Seek legal help if unsure.
Dont pay Private Parking tickets - they are mere invoices.

    PRESS THANKS
