Blackpool Dance Festival was first held in 1920, and The Winter Gardens Blackpool, which hosts the event, has long been a mecca for Ballroom and Sequence dancers from around the world. It stages a series of social dance events in the stunning Empress Ballroom and ornate Spanish Hall, the next of which is on the day of the Royal Wedding

The following rules (“Rules”) together with Global Radio's ("Global Radio") general and competition terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions” can be found here: http://www.classicfm.co.uk/about-classic-fm/terms-of-use/competition-terms-conditions/) apply to ‘Win a luxury ballroom dancing weekend' ("the Competition") which will run from Monday 7 March to Monday 11 April 2011 at 09:00. The "Participating Radio Station" is Classic FM.
By entering this Competition, anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and to be bound by them.
1. Details of the Competition
1.1 For the Duration of the Competition, listeners will be invited to enter the Competition by registering online.

1.2 To enter the Competition an Entrant must complete the required details and click on the 'Submit' button.
1.3 All those who enter before the closing date will be entered into a free prize draw.
1.4 The winner/s will be chosen at random by an independent party within 24 hours of the closing date.

1.5 All matters relating to the selection at random of Entrants and all other matters relating to the Competition will be at the discretion of Global Radio UK Ltd and the Participating Radio Station.
2. Eligibility
2.1 Any employees of Global Radio UK Ltd, their immediate family or any other persons directly connected with the Competition are unable to enter into the competition.
2.2 The Competition is open to residents of the UK and Northern Ireland only.
2.3 Notwithstanding that a winner has been declared, if Global Radio UK Ltd discovers before the delivery of a prize that for any reason under these Rules or Terms and Conditions the winner should have been ineligible to enter the Competition or the entry should have been declared invalid, Global reserves the right to determine that the winner is disqualified.
2.4 Global Radio UK Ltd and the Participating Radio Stations shall not be responsible for any failure on behalf of an Entrant whose text message or telephone call are not received by Global Radio UK Ltd or the Participating Radio Station.
2.5 An Entrant must participate in the Competition himself or herself. In the event that a party other than the Entrant attempts to enter the Competition on behalf of that Entrant (whether disclosed or not), that entry will be forfeited and no Prize will be delivered.
3. Prize
3.1 All decisions of the Global Radio UK Ltd and Participating Radio Stations’ representatives will be final and binding on the Entrants and no correspondence will be entered into.
3.2 The prize is two unreserved seats to watch one day’s competition at Blackpool Dance Festival on Sunday 29th May 2011, and two nights' stay, with breakfast included, at Langtry’s Hotel in Blackpool on 29th May and 30th May 2011.
3.3 Prize is non-transferable. No cash alternative. Transport costs not included.
