Too late to reclaim PPI?

Hi everyone, I'm hoping someone can help me. I have a HFC loan which has roughly 1300 quid left on it to repay. I took it out over 7 years and have paid back nearly 18000 pounds already. I did write 2 years ago using the template from this forum re reclaiming the PPI and they refuted the claim. Although I could have gone to the Ombudsman I stupidly didn't. I was wondering if I could try to claim again or is it too late? Thanks for your help!

Why did they refute the claim i.e why do you consider it mis-sold?0

I was advised verbally at the application that I wouldn't get the loan if I didn't take out the PPI, even though I was in a job that paid 6 months full pay and then 6 months half pay. I was in a desperate situation at that stage of my life. HFC did not provide the paperwork that I asked for also re the loan.0

Hi there, you did not take this to fos, so you should put your claim in again to the bank, just write a letter saying you were mis sold this ppi because.... and give your reasons. Give them 8 weeks to respond. Look here for reasons for mis sell

Also the fact you would have got 6 months full and 6 months half pay.You dont need to use the template letter as if this goes to fos then you have to fill another one in.And a letter will get you the same result.0 -
