Loan declined - credit check help

I have just been turned down for a loan - am I able to check the credit history of my household and its members? Or when you do a credit check will it just list my debts / creditors etc

You can only check your own, the key will be in the associations section, you may be financially linked to someone with a poor credit score. Of course you may have been turned down purely on your own credit score also.0

Yes that would be illegal. I would start with your own credit file first. Look to make sure your own credit accounts are in good order with satisfcatory and no late payments, you could be turned down for a lot of reasons, borrowed too much, etc etc. You can then check the other sections. Do you have joint bank accounts or mortgage with your wife ?0
