RSPB soft toy birds with real birdsong

I saw these lovely toys at my local RSPB nature reserve shop. All my children loved them (ages 4-9 years). They have a button inside, which when pressed, makes the bird sing an authentic bird song - with good quality sound. Amazingly my 6 year old recognised the song of a robin in our garden having played with the toy robin in the shop!
There are lots of different birds in the collection - see the RSPB website here for the full range:

They are not particularly cheap at £5.99 each (£11.99 for the big ones such as the albatros), but are very good quality and make a very unusual gift. Of course you are also contributing to this worthwhile charity too.
I will be buying the special offer set of the three most popular (blackbird, robin and song thrush) for £15.99 - saving £2

Postage is also £3.95 - so not a bargain unless you are planning a larger order. I did see some in my local garden centre though, but only a few and they looked rather 'well used'.
Sorry, I know that this is not really a money-saving tip, but I thought that these were lovely and wanted to pass it on.

Absolutely agree! Not cheap, but lovely. We have a blackbird, blue tit and robin. My next buy will be a song-thrush.
