DMP Why are we doing this? Rant!

Millions of Britons are up to our eyeballs in debt.

We want to pay back debt. We want to be debt free.

We realise we cannot cope and have the light bulb moment.

We cut everything back to the bone.

We work are !!!!!! off (if we don't get laid off that is).

We pay back and pay back and pay back.

In return we get...

The banks we owe the money to are nationalised as they are effectively bankrupt themselves.

Not only do we pay back our debt but OUR TAXES are now used to pay back the banks

CUTS CUTS and more CUTS to essential public services.

Never ending bonuses of MILLIONS for the banks.

This whole situation is utter madness.

When this coalition formed, They said they were going to get tough with the banks. I asked myself how can they, its's just sabre rattling as the banks own the country (or rather the money that owns the banks).

How can you get tough with the people you need to go to cap in hand to borrow money to keep the country going. Look at the news today HSBC are threatening to pull their HQ out of the UK in an effort to avoid Government Taxes and Charges.

Until the Powers that be stop talking tough and actually walk the walk, we will be fed sound bites that look as if they can do something.

Until this Government realize that we can't make money from Stocks and Shares, Flogging Insurance and PPI or Printing Money, working in call centers, flogging mobile phones and working in Tatco it wont get any better. The simple solution is this country need jobs that produce tangible items, Ships, Aircraft, Power Stations, Cars, Coal, Steel. That we can sell around the world for cash.

Call me a Fossil, but how can we go on making money by charging interest on cash that doesn't exist.
