thanks! OH uses luncheon meat as bait when he goes fishing and this is a cheaper way than buying it by the can. :T0 -
went to tesco today and bought 6 jars paste and just as op said it only gave me 3 for £1 and charged me full price for the rest so went to customer services who tried to make out that i had made the mistake by picking the wrong flavour! then went off and checked, on return she just handed me 89p with no apology nothing. I pointed out that it should be dtd as it was tescos mistake and she literally threw the money and my receipt at me the stroppy mareI LOVE BETTY CROCKER0

I had a very similar experience! I did the same and luckily right next to where I was standing there was a sign which said they will give double the difference if they charge you wrong - from the moment I pointed this out the customer service lady, she didn't say a word to me - just handed me the money and looked to the next customer! :rotfl:0 -
i went to my local this mornin and bought 12 of these only one offer of 3 for a £1 came off so took them to customer services....she cudnt work out how it had happened first tried to say i must have picked up the wrong ones then went to check the sel which said 3 for a £1 she then came back and offered to refund me and put them back through at the correct price....i mentioned dtd and she said as i hadnt left the store this didnt apply????? i stood my ground and she eventually threw the dtd at me lol0

think i may try it on a slightly larger amont than 6 this time especially as the use by date on the other jars i bought were feb 2014! I LOVE BETTY CROCKER0 -
What is it with all the above cs personnel getting in a pickle over princes paste. If they can't serve a customer, they shouldn't be working in Customer Services. Take their names everyone and complain about their attitude and their apparent lack of knowledge about the company's policy.Still virtually alcohol free since 4/1/15. (10 Xmas/ New Year/Birthday drinks)
It takes 3500 calories to lose a pound in weight. Target 13 lbs weight loss. 18.5lbs lost 2nd May - 28 September.0 -
i think most cs seem to think the extra cash is coming out of their own pockets lol thanks op my kids and dog love this stuff i may be brave enough tomorow to try on a larger amount and say i only bought them because of the promo lolbest win in 2011:eek: 4 nights in Las Vegas

just to let everyone know, i have just been into the big Tesco in Blackpool, not many jars left on the shelf, but bought 15 jars, paid for them, then took it straight over to cs. They were a bit in disbelief that so many jars and had only one lot of 3 for £1 had come off, so off they trotted to check. After they came back, i said "oh dont i get DTD back?" as its clearly on the notice board behind them underneath were it states "if something doesn't add up" on a white sheet. There was no quibble and she just refunded DTD plus i walked away with free paste. Nice find guys thanks xxx:D:D:A click the THANK YOU button if you think i have helped :A0

Well i got the glitch today - and it took them 20 mins to sort it out! The CS member insisted on trying every single combination she could to try and get it to work - i just wanted to say to her "it won't work its a glitch but i couldnt!", 20 mins later she admitted defeat and gave me DTD!A home is not a home ..... without a dog
