hello all
a quick question about jsa. Is it possible to volunteer on a regular basis if you recieve jsa? I thought there would not be a problem, but a friend (who last got jsa about a million yrs ago) has said she doesn't think you can do both.

you can do as many hours volunteering for a charity or voluntary organization as you like as long as you are still available fnd actively seeking full time paid employment. If it is not for a charity or voluntary org ask your jc for advice-they may ask for proof that the work is unpaid (for example a few hours a week helping an elderly neighbour with gardening, shopping etc)0
