The feeder is "free" but to claim it you have to collect 4 tokens from promotional packs of Allinsons bread/rolls and post them along with a cheque/postal order for £1.50 (towards delivery cost) and a completed application form. I've been Money Tipped!
On all the special packs I've seen, it's 1 token per pack..so you'll need 4 packs. Best prices I've seen for the large loaves (800g) are £1.10 each in Tescos or Waitrose have them on 2 for £2 at the moment. Apparently the smaller loaves also have tokens, so you may be able to obtain the tokens for even less cost. Not sure how much the rolls are.

Obviously in addition to the price of a stamp (to send your application) and the £1.50 cheque for shipping the feeder to you, the "free" feeder also costs you the price of 4 loaves....but if you usually buy this type of bread anyway, then it looks like a nice little feeder for less than £2 delivered! :)

Strictly speaking you can't claim it for free, no....as with lots of offers, there is some expense incurred in claiming the so-called "free" product.

I thought it would be ok to post here, as it is still free with a low spend. After all, most people regularly buy bread, so the outlay would be minimal. If BGs think it should be moved, then feel free!

I'm generally sceptical of offers for "free" items which do actually require payment. Some don't represent good value......For me to claim this feeder will cost me only £1.82 (cheque + 2nd class stamp) as I already buy the bread anyway. To me, that IS good value, so I thought I'd share! :)

Great find! Thank you! I have been wanting bird feeder for ages (I have the bird feed!) but haven't been able to justify the expense, but I also love Allinson's bread, so all good! :)

I thought that if you were posting on behalf of a company or business ie Allied Bakeries the rules of this site dictate that you should declare that you are posting as such...........
    Or am I mistaken ???

You're mistaken if you think I'm posting on behalf of Allied Bakeries.

I'm sure you realise I'm not but for some reason you just have to be controversial.

Sad life you must lead :(
