Does your marital status affect your quote??
It ceratinly did with some comapnies a few years ago. I was living with my OH and when they gave me the quote they said it would have cheaper if we were married. We'd been living together for about 15 years then so it seems silly that you could meet someone and be married within 6 months and you'd get a discount. The person doing the quote thought it was a bit mad too.
The only way to know for sure is to do quotes with different marital statuses but only buy the policy where you've been honest or the insurance would be invalid.0
