I once had one of my brows removed .. I was lying drunk at a party somewhere so deserved it ... I had to go to Hyde for a few weeks until it grew back. Oddly enough the chap who did it lost his since of humour when I gave him a head massage with my hands covered in immac (in fact he still hasn't spoken to me since and that was about 8 years ago)
Anyhows seeing as I am totally useless at answering your quesitons I will let somebody more useful come along

I think you might be better asking this in the local money saving, England board.
I haven't got a clue what threading is but it sounds painful!May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0 -

I've seen it done on telly but I get mine waxed every month and I think threading would be more painful.Murphy's No More Pies Club Member No. 680

What is eyebrow threading?
Do they knit your eyebrows together to one big monobrow?"One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."0 -
Its apparently less painful than threading although I've never had it done. I have mine waxed once a month too..
Not much help though “I tell you, we are here on Earth to fart around, and don't let anybody tell you different.”

mrcow, it's tweezing eyebrows with the use of a thread.
Eyebrow threading is perfect - waxing eyebrows is not good for the skin long term - it stretches the skin and facilitate developing wrinkles. I'm sorry I don't know of any address' for threading. Perhaps you could enquire at the local salon?0 -
I have had it done. A friend of mine from Iran did it for me.
I believe that it is popular in the Middle EastTreat everyday as your last one on earth! and one day you will be right.0 -
From the link above: Side effects can include folliculitis, a bacterial infection in the hair follicles, skin reddening or puffiness, and changes in skin pigment.
If that's better for the skin than waxing I'm glad I do neither. Not that that helps the OP. Sorry!May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0
