I love chanel no 5 but a bit heavy during the day. Was thinking of getting the body cream but not cheap and using that. Has anyone tried the Chanel body creams and does the smell last? They are £40 in Debenhams and havent found cheaper - not sure if could get at airport perhaps.

They should smell the same a pure parfum. You won't get big sillage blasting but will be able to smell it. Yes they last all day.0

I use Chanel Chance bodycream and love it. I buy either body creams or body lotion in any perfume I like because it is much lighter for the day and the smell does last. I would definately recommend them0

where is cheapest to buy do you think eg have you ever bought at the airport?
Also, anyone who uses the bodycreams - I am more interested in smell than the moisturising angle, do you use it all over after a shower or just around neck and on arms? Just wondering how long a tub of Chanel would last really!0 -
Hi there - I have the Coco Mademoiselle edp and 'top it up' for evening/special occasion wear with the moisturising body mist, and I also find it works well just on its own for everyday wear without being at all heavy but still noticeable. I know it's a different product but might that be an idea? I notice they do a moisture mist in No 5 at £26.55 for 100ml.0

I have Chanel No.19 and No.5 in body lotion, and tend to use them on the upper body along with the perfume.
If you wanted to have one or the other I think the perfume would be more effective, but probably costs more.I'm not sure how the prices compare,as the body lotions were a gift.

edp is eau de parfum i presume.
I have Coco Mademoiselle too and love it:)The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -

I got mine in debenhams so not the cheapest option. I use mine on legs, arms and upper body and the smell really does last
You don't need a lot of the cream because it is quite thick so it lasts a while and I think it is cost effective0 -

EDP - Eau de Parfum 9 stronger than eau de toilette) and the moisture mist is a body spray, you can also order online from Debenhams + loads of other places!0
