Another question from a Northern Ireland newbie.

Is both English and Scottish money useable over there? or is there a NI Currency like Jersery has? I know that in England they don't like scottish notes so Id like to know what I should bring

Many thanks :)

Yes jen, we do have our own sterling notes but we are not as fussy as England and will accept Bank of England and Scottish notes, also in the border areas like Londonderry/Derry and Enniskillen a lot of places will accept Euro too.

Never worry about the sh1tstirrers on here, you will have a great time!

no issues with any time of notes (as long as they're genuine lol)!

If you have any problems you can go to any bank of post office and they will exchange them for you but you really shouldn't have any bother!

As a small business owner in NI - I would accept payment in almost anything right now!!!!! Bank of England/Scotland, local notes, Euro, the odd barter or exchange etc, etc - you get the picture!

Agree with the other posters -most shops over here accept any notes!
DJWW - cos we won't let it!
