MSE love poems book

There was a competition listed at the end of January/ early February by an MSE person with 100 or so love poem books to giveaway.

I was selected as a winner...and was online as the pm came in...and responded immediately as per the instructions, with my address etc.

Edited tp say "fingers crossed" to all who entered! Re the posts below...i hear it could take a few weeks before we hear anything :-)

A couple of relevant bits:
200 people will be picked at random (we've a special little computer programme to do it) and a private message will be sent to each of their winning usernames requesting their FULL NAME, USERNAME and ADDRESS details (there'll be an email address to send this information to, we don't want it done via private messages).

The FIRST 100 people to get back to me with ALL THE REQUIRED INFORMATION will win a copy of the book.

The giveaway has a strict one entry per household policy and entries can be deemed ineligible without any explanation or notification.

When will I get the book?

The publisher providing these books will send them out directly though, to aid administration, this won't happen until all 100 winners have provided their name and address. So it may take a several weeks between the giveaway's end and actual receipt. This thread will be updated to let winners know when they have been sent out.

As far as I can see, the thread has not been updated yet I think it is still on it's way

thank you onetreehillgirl.....and BIG apologies to MSE Penelope for even suggesting your post was a con - I've had a bit of wine, and am working my way through the final 17 pages of competitions....!!

Hi i won both the french for dummies and the knitting one, and they just turned up hun.
I didn't get a repsonse to say I had definately got one.

i was the same as the comp in the OP, the only thing that worried me was that the private message was sent to me but the time on the private message was later than the post that said all the books had gone so i am presuming I didnt get one. if it comes in the post I will be pleasantly suprised but im not sure

I got the PM as well & replied instantly, I then PM'd MSE Penelope roughly 3 weeks ago asking if I'd sent my details quick enough to be told yes I had won the book but have heard nothing since. Not sure if that helps?

I've won an mse book giveaway previously and got it about 2-3wks later I really wanted the sign language one too, great giveaway!

"Unfortunately we're having issues with the publisher but are trying to sort this out and get the book to you asap."
