Hi
Does Property Rental Income count as Income in relation to how much can be invested in the above?
If it does, would that be the gross rental or the net taxable amount e.g after deducting mortgage interest.
Many Thanks
Alan

earned income is what matters. Not investment income.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0

Thanks for the swift reply.
So just to be sure I have it right that means that if my only income is rental income then I am restricted to the amount I can invest in these?

Yes, you can only put in £3600 gross a year (£2880 net).0
